Labor & Birth Class

October 29 - 6:00-8:00PM

This class is led by Lynchburg Doula Services and is one of the most popular classes they offer. You will be guided through the pregnancy experience, laboring process, and how you can harness your own strength to make it as easy and safe as possible. Pregnancy and labor is unique for each mom, but there are practical ways that you can improve your overall experience, comfort level and autonomy during this major life-changing phase of life which we will discuss in detail.

Comfort Measures Class

November 5 - 6:00-8:00PM

This class is led by Lynchburg Doula Services. This Pain Management Course encompasses the stresses of pregnancy, labor and birth. It’s designed to offer you the knowledge you need to plan, cope with the physical demands of labor and understand your body before, during, and after you give birth. Pain during birth doesn't have to be a scary thing and with many wonderful techniques you can experience labor in a positive, empowering way.

Montessori Parenting Education Class

November 6 - 6:00-8:00PM

This class is led by Lynchburg Doula Services and is taught by a local Montessori Teacher/Educator & Postpartum Doula. We will discuss understanding the philosophy, principles, and practice of child centered-education development.
